RREAL Accomplishments
With the support of our communities, generous foundations and private donors, RREAL has accomplished an amazing amount in its seven years.
RREAL has installed over two dozen solar heating systems on the homes of low income Minnesota families at no cost to the families, insulating them from rising and fluctuating energy costs.
RREAL has installed over 17 Kilowatts of Solar Photovoltaic, 4460 square feet of solar air heat collectors, and 336 square feet of solar water heat collectors.
RREAL underwent an 18 month Research and Design process, and developed what we think is the very best solar air heat collector on the market. These collectors are manufactured on site in Pine River, MN.
RREAL continues to be a strong, but sometimes lonely voice advocating for the use of clean energy as a solution to fuel poverty.
