Announcing: The RREAL Solar Powered Furnace (SPF)!

RREAL is proud to announce the launch of the SPF – the Solar Powered Furnace. The SPF design process was a 2 year labor of love for the RREAL team, and we’re excited to now offer the SPF line of solar thermal panels to the public and our Solar Assistance clients. Having met the following rigorous design objectives, RREAL has created the finest solar air heater available on the market today:

  1. Highly efficient – seasonal operating efficiency of 49%.
  2. Highly durable – 50 year design life and composed mostly of aluminum and tough solar glass.
  3. Cost-effective – reasonably priced with a simple payback against propane of about 9 years.
  4. Easy to install – integrated racking / mounting system and array interconnect
  5. Meticulously engineered for the highest possible efficiency and uniform airflow. Back pass configuration is ideal for cold climates.
  6. Suitable for residential and commercial installations.
  7. Aesthetically pleasing – attractive design with hidden racking.
  8. Building integrated design – You can incorporate into your building plans, and in addition to the heat the system will produce, it eliminates the need for siding, and add substantially to the insulative value of the wall.

We’re thrilled to be able to deploy our own collector in our Solar Heat for Low-income Families Program and we’re thrilled to be able to offer our collector to you.
