Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program– The LIHEAP Clearinghouse website contains news and information for state, tribal, and local LIHEAP providers, as well as others interested in low income energy issues.
Energy Information Administration– This website contains information regarding various forms of energy and national energy consumption statistics.
U.S. Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy– A division of the Department of Energy, their website contains information on all aspects of renewable technologies including energy efficiency and national incentives.
National Renewable Energy Laboratory– This is the national research lab of the US Department of Energy, Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. The website contains information regarding research and development of recent innovations in the renewable technology field.
US Dept of Energy, Office of Energy Effiency and Renewable Energy Consumer’s Guide to Active Solar Heating- This guide offers advice on topics such as the economic benefits of solar air heat systems, how the control systems work, and which building codes to check out when installing a system.

Minnesota Community Action Partnership- Many local community action agencies are your source for energy assistance help. This website contains a listing of most community action leagues in Minnesota and what services each provide.

Schools for Energy Efficiency– SEE provides systemized plans, awareness materials, training, and utility tracking for immediate and sustainable savings to K-12 schools.
National Low Income Energy Consortium– A nonprofit dedicated to bringing together public, private, and nonprofit organizations and individuals in order to reduce residential energy and utility hardships and crises faced by low income consumers.
Midwest Renewable Energy Association– A nonprofit started in Wisconsin that promotes renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living through education and demonstration.
The Alliance to Save Energy- The Alliance to Save Energy promotes energy efficiency worldwide to achieve a healthier economy, a cleaner environment, and greater energy security.
Interstate Renewable Energy Council- A non-profit organization committed to accelerating the sustainable utilization of renewable energy resources and technologies in and through state, local government, and community activities.
Alternative Energy Institute- AEI's primary emphasis has been placed on wind energy, though certain research and education are also on solar energy.
American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy- An organization dedicated to advancing energy efficiency as a means of promoting economic prosperity, energy security, and environmental protection.
American Solar Energy Society– A nonprofit dedicated to increasing the use of solar energy and other renewable technologies in the U.S. Their website has links for solar professionals, a job database, and educational resources.
Solar Energy Industries Association- A website for solar professionals and curious individuals who want to know all aspects of the solar industry. It contains resources for solar technology, development, policy, and advocacy.
Solar Energy International- Solar Energy International (SEI) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help others use renewable energy and environmental building technologies through education.
RETScreen® International– RETScreen Clean Energy Project Analysis Software can be used worldwide to evaluate the energy production and savings costs, emission reductions, financing viability and risks for various types of renewable energy.
Solar Rating and Certification Corporation– SRCC administers a certification, rating, and labeling program for solar collectors. They are the only national certification program established solely for solar energy products.
North Carolina Solar Center– Their mission is to advance the use of renewable energy resources. The website contains a wide range of information about renewable energy to assist individuals and businesses to adopt more sustainable ways of operating.
Center for Renewable Energy and Sustainable Technology- An in-depth and excellent site for obtaining a wealth of information on solar energy and sustainable living. Maintains a discussion group for interested parties.
Florida Solar Energy Center- A group whose mission is to research and develop energy technologies that enhance the nation's economy and environment and to educate the public, students and practitioners on the results of the research.

American Wind Energy Association– Promotes wind energy with up-to-date information regarding all aspects of the wind industry.
American Hydrogen Association- The mission of AHA is to facilitate achievements of prosperity without pollution and to close the information gap between researchers, industry and the public, drawing on world-wide developments concerning hydrogen, solar, wind, hydro, ocean and biomass resource materials, energy conversion, wealth-addition economics, and the environment.
Electric Power Research Institute- EPRI, a non-profit organization, brings together its members, the institute’s scientists and engineers, along with experts from academia, industry and other research centers to meet challenges in electricity generation, delivery and use. EPRI supports multi-discipline research in emerging technologies, which drives long-range research and development planning.
Hunt Utilities Group– HUG’s mission is to pursue research, development, and application of technologies and methods that support sustainable living and environmental stewardship.
Happy Dancing Turtle– Foundation dedicated to the promotion of sustainable living by providing educational experiences covering a variety of sustainable living topics.
